Resource Development Associate

Position Title: Resource Development Associate

Reports To: David Zackon, Executive Director of Global Resource Development

Status: 100% position

Location: Jerusalem

Start Date: Immediate

 

Responsibilities:

RD Assistance & Administration Coordination to Executive Director

  • Proactive Management of Executive Director's calendar and setting up meetings
  • Researching and gathering data to prepare for meetings and donor outreach.
  • Admin and logistic support for events, visits, missions, seminars, and Board  meetings in conjunction with Global Encounters team
  • Creating and coordinating donor tributes such as gifts, plaques, and thank you letters.
  • Filing and retrieving records, documents, forms, and reports
  • Ability to liaise with external administrative assistants and donors where appropriate
  • Archival research
  • Performing office duties and general administrative support: ordering supplies, updating database records, updating contacts, drafting emails and letters, mailing, preparing presentations, submitting reimbursements, etc.
  • Recording meetings minutes
  • Making travel arrangements, reservations, and trip schedules
  • Overseeing budget utilization per department guidelines



Writing team admin support – 5%

  • Creating contracts for freelance writers
  • Submitting payment requests for US based freelance writers
  • Occasional general admin / logistic support
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years experience in a similar role
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite
  • Fluent in English & Hebrew, spoken and written
  • Team player, self-starter, multi-tasker, proactive
  • Able to work in a dynamic environment
  • Occasional work outside office hours may be required
