Human Resources Specialist - Part time

The Joint (JDC), a global humanitarian nonprofit organization, is seeking a Human Resources Specialist (HRS) to join our dynamic and multicultural Global Human Resources team. The HRS will manage the full cycle of recruitment, onboarding and new hire processes. They will work closely and in partnership with hiring managers and the HR team across the globe to ensure collaborative and professional hiring and onboarding processes with outstanding candidate experience. What will you do as our Human Resources Specialist?

  • Manage the overall stages of recruitment, primarily for positions located in Israel, Europe, Africa & Asia (requisitions approval, job descriptions, sourcing, screening, interviewing, reference checks)
  • Ensure best candidate experience
  • Support hiring managers throughout the hiring process
  • Oversight of pre-onboarding and onboarding processes 
  • Ensure that all stages of the hiring process are performed in accordance with JDC recruiting practices
  • Member of the global recruiting forum
  • Additional projects and HR Operations assignments as needed

What Qualifications do you need in order to be our Human Resources Specialist?

  • BA in Human Resources, business administration, or related field
  • At least 2-3 years of relevant experience
  • Experience working in an international, multi-cultural environment – a plus
  • Experience in recruiting for remote locations, conducting CV screening, phone interviews, in-person interviews
  • Familiarity with and experience in working with a wide variety of sourcing channels
  • Fluency in spoken and written English and Hebrew
  • Ability to establish effective and cooperative working relationships with a variety of stakeholders
  • Experience working with candidate management systems and HRIS – a plus
