Mid-level managers are the backbone of every business – they are the ones who translate strategy into execution on the ground. However, in Israel there is a gap of approximately 40% in management skills in medium-sized businesses compared to OECD countries, a gap that is directly reflected in levels of productivity and growth. To bridge this gap, a dedicated training program of the FIELD program was launched today in the Sharon Cluster.
Management as a Bridge to Regional Growth
The new cohort that has opened focuses on Arab society and brings together managers from the fields of industry, commerce, tourism, and construction. The uniqueness of the program lies in the human encounter: Jewish and Arab entrepreneurs from the region study together, create a network of connections (Networking), and develop a shared managerial language that strengthens the local economy from within.
An International Model with Proven Success
The FIELD program, an initiative of JDC-Tevet in collaboration with an international consulting firm, is based on a model implemented in more than 80 countries. During six months of hybrid training, participants receive:
- Practical tools: digital learning alongside in-person workshops.
- Peer learning: solving managerial challenges in real time.
- Performance improvement: emphasis on increasing profitability and business productivity.
