Commitment to Israeli Society
“I am excited to join the Joint, especially during this challenging time for Israel and the Jewish people worldwide. I see it as a deep commitment and a great privilege to be part of this amazing organization, and to fulfill its vision of strengthening the Israeli populations most severely affected, the most vulnerable populations in the country, and the country as a whole,” says Minka-Brand as she prepares to assume her role. “I intend to use the experience I’ve gained over the years to strengthen and enrich the Joint’s long-standing legacy in Israel, a legacy of over 100 years, and I look forward to working with the organization’s unparalleled team, partners, and leadership to ensure a better future for Israeli society.”
Minka-Brand, a Jerusalem resident, is married and a mother of three. She brings to JDC-Israel extensive experience in managing large and complex systems, as well as a deep familiarity and understanding of Israeli society. In this challenging period, as we continue to assist hundreds of thousands of Israelis, we are confident that Hadas’s leadership will lead the organization forward in its vital mission of strengthening the resilience of Israeli society.
