During these days, our central mission is to do everything in our power to assist and support every Israeli. We are operating both in the field and in the digital arena to provide you with tools to cope with this complex situation.

Our Digital Responses: Support and Information at Any Moment

In order to make immediate assistance accessible, we are operating our digital services array, where you can find a wide range of solutions for coping with the challenges of this time:

Conduct in the Protected Space: A dedicated content hub in partnership with the Walla! website, including practical guides for staying in shelters and protected spaces, tools for parents and education teams that help explain the events to children in a way that is adapted and reassuring, key points and guidelines for accompanying and assisting older adults in situations of stress and emergency, and more.

Nafshi Portal: A professional portal that brings together approximately 400 different responses and services, tailored personally to your needs. The portal provides support, educational content, and helplines, and also offers free self-care tools that are not dependent on the availability of therapists. Each and every person can find precise solutions according to age, population group, and the type of assistance required: responses in different languages and helplines for the religious and ultra-Orthodox public, support groups for mothers, for soldiers, a dedicated mental health support line for those affected from the Bedouin sector, unique responses for children, treatment centers for survivors and those affected by the war, and more.

Dedicated Responses in Arabic: Accessible, culturally adapted content for Arab society.

The Digital Library: Professional knowledge and practices accumulated at JDC for coping with emergency situations, for professionals and for the public at large.

And additional tools for coping for a wide range of populations.

Our Work in the Field

Alongside the digital responses, our professionals are deployed in authorities across the country and operate in full coordination with local authorities in order to provide immediate and precise assistance in the field. Rescue and emergency forces across the country are using the critical equipment and professional trainings we have provided, enabling them to deliver vital support to the population at this time.

We are prepared to expand our professional support framework as needed and, if necessary, to reactivate the emergency housing assistance program (as we operated during the “Am KeLavi” war), in order to provide a response to those who lost their homes as a result of the fighting, as well as additional programs as required.
