The second phase of the New Joint Government-Philanthropy NGO Relief Fund is underway!
Social sector organizations are invited to apply for support.
The fund provides financial aid to help eligible social organizations survive and continue their work during and after the Coronavirus crisis.
In the first phase, approximately NIS 16 million ($4.8 million) was distributed to 220 social organizations, and now it’s time for Phase II:
✔ Conditions for eligibility have been expanded to help more organizations qualify
✔ The maximum grant has been increased
✔ Organizations that qualified for Phase I will benefit from an expedited approval track in Phase II

The Relief Fund is spearheaded by the Ministry of Labor, Social Affairs and Social Services and the Ministry of Finance. It was established with the professional support and guidance of Joint-ELKA in partnership with these philanthropic organizations seeking to strengthen Israel’s social sector in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic: Ted Arison Family Foundation, Glazer Philanthropies, William Davidson Foundation, Yad Hanadiv, Kellermann Foundation, Crown Family Philanthropies, Maimonides Foundation, and Schusterman Family Foundation.
