These days challenge all of us. Whether we are parents of children, people with disabilities, or older adults. All of us find ourselves in a reality that requires new strengths. As part of our collaboration with the Walla! website, we established “Safe Space,” a website that brings together the most practical information and tools that can help get through this period with greater confidence.

This space was created for all of us:

Parents, children, grandparents, people with special needs, and for the benefit of all sectors and populations in Israel. It is a place where you can receive accessible, simple, and clear information that is suitable for everyone.

What will you find there?

Getting through time in the safe room: Tips for managing more calmly and effectively when spending extended periods in the protected space. How to make the stay less stressful for us and for the children.

Your rights: The path to realizing your rights – who to turn to and how to receive the assistance you need.

Speaking at eye level: Videos by experts and professionals who explain in a simple way how to manage anxiety and find strength even in difficult moments.

Our Emergency Knowledge Library: A variety of content for professionals and the general public, based on the professional knowledge we have accumulated over the years at JDC.

Keeping the community strong: How to pay attention to those around us, identify who needs help, and strengthen mutual responsibility in the neighborhood and in the building.

Take a few minutes to go through the content – it can make a big difference in your sense of security and that of your loved ones.
